On Sunday, July 19th, come together and paddle out to raise funds for Fisher House Southern California, Inc. This one is for all of our comic book enthusiasts: Costumes of your favorite super hero or super villain are strongly encouraged! Participants will paddle on a provided stand-up paddle board for approximately 1 mile. Participants may bring their own paddleboards or utilize 1 paddleboard rental, included complimentary with event registration. A 1-night stay at Sheraton San Diego Resort will be given out to the Fastest Racer, along with two more prizes, one for the Best Super Costume and even Best Side Kick, an award for the loudest and most supportive in the spectator’s section! Come out and race or come out to support. We’ll have games, food & drink available for purchase, and a great day supporting an important cause. Complimentary parking will be available at Sheraton San Diego Resort. Participants must be 18 or older to compete in the SUPer Hero Show Down.

Inside The Pointe in the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, guests can play Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, the next active game in the Nintendo Switch Sports series playable exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo Switch Sports Resort launches Oct. 22, and guests will be able to try out 4 of its 12 different sports. There will be a first come/first serve queue where visitors can wait for the opportunity to try out the game. Meanwhile, outside on The Promenade, visitors can watch live Nintendo Switch Sports Resort gameplay broadcasting locally on screens while participating in some fun, family-friendly sports activities hosted by event staff. On July 23, between 1:30-3:30 p.m. PT in The Promenade at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, visitors who have already played Nintendo Switch Sports Resort will have the opportunity to put their new skills to the test, going on stage to compete against social media creator The Rizzler. Interested participants will be randomly selected by Nintendo event staff; prizing will not be included as part of this experience.

HBO Max is bringing Lanterns to SDCC with a “Training Headquarters” fan experience inspired by the show’s Rushville, Nebraska setting. Fans will receive a briefing from the Guardians before taking on interactive challenges including target practice, trust tests, maze navigation, and escape room-style missions set in locations like the Sheriff’s Office and Dive Bar. Participants will leave with a custom Green Lantern ring, and exclusive Lanterns merchandise will also be available. Reservations are sold out. Fink is inviting fans to search the Gaslamp Quarter for original artwork of eleven escaped “Kreepy Cuddles” creatures. Every 20 minutes, he will release a new clue on Instagram and TikTok. With strategic oversight from Technology Strategy Committee of Sony Group Corporation, DICE GOBLINS utilizes the groundbreaking 3D Spatial Capture Solution powered by Sony XYN, and you get the first chance to explore these environments and interact with digital artifacts mapped from the physical world by our student creators, used in both the cinematic and the immersive projects for a truly magical moment. Dragon City Chronicles Actual Play in Guggenheim | 7:00-9:00 p.m. The dark and gritty world of Dragon City is once again brought to life by the STUDiO Players! Featuring Game Master Kyle Pugh, and our cast of players from across the region. The fourth annual Ghostbuster Muster takes place on Friday, July 24 at 5:30pm along the Embarcadero, where Ghostbusters from every franchise, chapter, and timeline are invited to gather for a massive group photo. No Comic-Con badge is required, just your best Ghostbusters cosplay. Attendees are also encouraged to bring extra patches to trade. Once the photos are wrapped, the fun moves to Werewolf Pub (627 Fourth Ave.) for the annual Ghostbusters After Party beginning at 7pm.
