Biography

Thessa Aureline was never a sun goddess or a queen of worshippers. She was the old power people called when they were trapped: behind gates, beneath cities, at borders, inside bargains, or on the wrong side of a door that should have opened. Her temples were thresholds, her offerings were keys, and her name was spoken most often by people running out of choices. Modern life did not kill her. It multiplied her. Subway turnstiles, apartment buzzers, airport gates, app permissions, hospital doors, and server locks all became new shrines to passage and denial. Thessa returned through those systems with black-brass grace, understanding that power now lives wherever access can be granted or refused. As an opponent, Thessa is terrifying because she does not simply attack. She decides what can reach you. Paths close. Escape routes forget themselves. Weapons catch on invisible thresholds.
