Kori Wildmark grew up around trainers who believed the worst thing you could do to a creature was treat it like equipment. He took that lesson seriously, which is why his bonds tend to run deeperβ€”and become harder to breakβ€”than those of tamers who chase prestige first. His partner beasts respond to him not because he dominates them, but because he listens fast and acts faster. That gives Kori a different kind of field presence: cooperative, instinctive, and difficult to predict for opponents who assume bonds are just another command structure.
